Mary Hogarth Dennis Hodgson

Mary Hogarth Dennis Hodgson was the daughter of John Dennis and Rebecca Hogarth. She was born in Ovid Center, NY in 1838. When she was a child she collected rags and paper to sell so that she could buy materials with which to paint. Some of her paintings still exist today and hang in the homes of her descendants.
